Purchase orders.
When ordering, schools, colleges and other EDUCATIONAL institutions, please remember that we only accept your own official purchase order. Other customers are encouraged to use our own order form provided in this website.

For your convenience, we have provided you with a blank order_form.doc in Microsoft Word format and a second order_form.pdf in Adobe Acrobat format. Use the one of your choice to help you with your book selection. Please, remember to enter all pertaining purchasing information. Then transfer it onto your official purchase order form and fax it, mail it or email it to us. All orders should be mailed, faxed or emailed to:

To ensure prompt delivery, please follow the ordering instructions below. All orders must provide the following information:

* Purchase order Number
* Bill to address
* Ship to address
* ISBN / Book code
* Quantity
* Price
* Author & Title
* Contact person

For NYC Board of Education orders, please list the following numbers:

Prices.
All school prices are F.O.B. New York. Published prices are correct at the time of printing but may be subject to change at any time without notice. School prices in this website already reflect a 15% discount.

Return policy.
Concerning Returns, please examine your shipment upon receipt. All claims must be made within five business days from the invoice date. Please, do not return any materials without prior authorization from our office.

Examination copies & School presentations.
To request examination copies and school presentations, contact your local representative or call our office to find out who is your Bastos Book Co. local representative. We are pleased to provide examination/review copies of books being considered for class adoptions. Please provide the following:

* Course title
* Number of students in your class
* Date when is needed

All requests must be sent on school stationery.

Shipping & Handling.
Orders are shipped via UPS ground. Please add 10% to your invoice for shipping and handling charges. Minimum shipping charges are $4.50.

Next day and Second day deliveries are available at an extra cost to the purchaser upon request. To ensure on time delivery of your materials, we suggest that you place your order as early as possible. Transportation charges are prepaid by Bastos Book Co. and added on to the invoice.
